ABOUT

BOHLD is a consultancy focused on solving dermatologic questions related to skin-worn medical or consumer electronic devices. 

​

Our principal consultant is a Dr Bryan Cho, MD PhD. He is an American Board of Dermatology Board-Certified Dermatologist with 15 years of clinical experience as a general dermatologist including work in allergy patch testing for contact dermatitis. He has been a consultant for leading technology companies and medical device innovators since 2014. He founded BOHLD Consulting in 2022.

 

Dr Cho is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology,  American Contact Dermatitis Society and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

He is ABLS Board Certified in Laser Medicine, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Stanford University and a PhD in Biochemistry from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

​

He has completed three post-doctoral fellowships in Immunology including:

• Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Center for Cancer Research

• University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)

• University of California San Francisco (UCSF)

He is the author of over 20 peer reviewed publications within the fields of Immunology and Dermatology.
